Horay for Captain Spaulding!

A while back I had the opportunity to catch up with one of my favorite actors, Sid Haig. Most people our age know him as Captain Spaulding from House of a 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects.

But my first introduction to him was from his career in Blaxploitation classics such as Coffy, The Big Bird Cage, Foxy Brown, and Black Mama, White Mama to name a few. Sid Haig did so many appearances on tv shows such as the original Batman, The A-Team, Dukes of Hazard, TJ Hooker, Fantasy Island, and Police Story, it's impossible not to catch him late night on TV Land or a rerun somewhere else.

From films such as Spiderbaby and Point Blank in the 60's, to the more recent The Haunted World of El Superbeasto and Creature, Sid Haig is an actor who has been around for many generations. I'm a huge fan and have met him a few times. He is super cool and always willing to chat with fans.
